Adoptable dogs
Dogs listed on this page are NOT dogs produced/bred by Carolina Reaper Kennels. The dogs listed on this page are dogs available for adoption through CRK's independent rehoming program. All dogs adopted through CRK will be contracted through CRK the same as dogs produced by CRK. Adopters will receive the same life time support and guidance that puppy buyers receive and all dogs adopted will have a soft place to land should circumstances change or adoptions fall through. All dogs are vetted prior to placement and will be sent home with a binder consisting of all important medical documents and notes written and provided by CRK.
If you have any questions regarding any available Carolina Dogs listed below- please contact us through our email at CarolinaReaperKennels.com or through our "Contact Us" page here on our website. If you are looking to purchase from an upcoming litter, purchase an older CRK dog, or purchase a retired CRK dog or any dog produced/bred by CRK- please check our "litters" tab and click "Available Adults" or reach out to us directly via email!

Meet Fauna
Spayed/ vaccinated/ vetted
☆Bonded to Flora☆
•Adult female (estimated 2- yrs. Old)
•Color: Buff
• approx 33LB
•Notable markings: None
•Heartworm negative
•Treated for worms/fleas/ticks
Fauna defers to Flora on most accounts. We believe that Flora may be her mother though there is no documentation backing this up as this time. Fauna is a small female at only 33LB, she is curious and shelter staff has had no concerns or issues with her. She airs on the side of caution and will take awhile to fully settle and trust her new home. No concerning behaviors have been exhibited by shelter staff surrounding humans, animals, or resources as matters pertain to Fauna.
We will be evaluating Flora & Fauna to see what their ideal home would be. Currently we would feel best placing her in a less active home with no cats, no small dogs, and older children ONLY. This likely won't change based on further evaluation given the breed temperament, background, and due to Flora's age. We want a calm home for her; Thus, we are limiting placement requirements at this time. Those with breed experience or experience with primitive breeds do take priority consideration.
Adoption pending!

•Senior female (estimated 10 yrs. Old)
•Color: Buff
• approx 46LB.
•Notable markings: scarring around eyes, frosted face

Flora is an old lady who deserves a stable place for her retirement years. She is believed to have been a house dog as opposed to a kennel dog. She is relaxed overall in the shelter environment and has handled the chaos of things well from what shelter staff has noted. No concerning behaviors have been exhibited pertaining to Flora at this time. She has not demonstrated any aggression towards humans, animals, or regarding resources.

Meet Fern
Adoption pending!
•Spayed/ vaccinated/ vetted
•Adult female (estimated 3-5 yrs. Old)
•Color: Buff w/ white points
•Notable markings: scarring throughout face
•Heartworm negative
•Treated for worms/fleas/ticks
Fern is one of the few adult dogs that was cleared for adoption. She is has no health concerns and despite her circumstances- she is quite confident and gentle. She is curious and has interacted with shelter staff gently including taking treats and receiving pets. She is head shy, though this is not uncommon for the breed. She has sought out human interaction on her own accord and has not displayed any concerning behaviors. No aggression towards animals, people, or regarding resources have been observed by shelter staff. She has a female Carolina Dog kennelmate who she gets along with, but has mounted a few times.
We will be evaluating Fern to see what her ideal home would be. Currently we would feel best placing her in an active home with no cats, no small dogs, and no young children. This may change based on further evaluation but given the breed temperament as well as the background- we are limiting placement requirements at this time. Those with breed experience or experience with primitive breeds do take priority consideration.
